How do you install laminate flooring under sliding closet doors?
I would carry the hardwood into the closet as that is standard procedure. Remove the doors and the center glide and install the flooring.

One note: If your patio door doesn't have a space on the bottom for the tape, the instructions call for nailing a piece of wood to the floor and using that for the bottom. Not too sure about that idea.
